Year One Geography - Bird feeders

This half term, the children of Year One have been making bird feeders as part of their ongoing Geography topic.  We combined our D&T skills and designed them before making them from recycled materials. 

Children have been measuring rainfall, wind speed and looking at sun and shade to decide where best they would be placed to attract more wildlife to our school.
