Year 4 - Take One Picture Studio

Year 4 have had a fantastic experience in the Take One Picture studio, creating artwork inspired by ‘Courtyard of a house in Delft’ by Pieter de Hooch. They experimented with tone and shade at the sketching station, created intricate patterns with acrylic paint on tiles and performed mini plays using shadow puppets they had fashioned with lolly pop sticks and paper. We were lucky to be visited by a local willow weaver, Ruth Marley, who expertly supported the children in the making of our giant sculpture, soon to be revealed.
