Year 3 - Our Art Studio

We have had a fantastic time in the artists studio during Take One Picture. 

Children enjoyed carefully using a needle and thread to create their sea creatures. Some children did starfish and others chose to really push themselves to do hammerhead sharks!

Working on our drawing skills, children looked at model ships and lighthouses and sketched an outline before choosing the best line to follow. They added details by shading and adding backgrounds.

Some people spent time adding to our whole school sculpture of a whale tail! We worked in partners to wrap the thread around the tail. We also did a bit of rock painting!
