Children have explored the work of our complimentary artist, Wonsook Kim and focused on her piece, 'By the Shore' - 1992. They recreated their own version of her work by using oil pastels for the background and black card to shape the figure and boat. 

On Wednesday 25th October, children answered a Zoom call from the Wonsook Kim's University Galleries of Illinois State. A curator of the art exhibition led a call with Year 2 answering pre-planned questions they had about Wonsook Kim's art and about her. They learned a lot about what it is like to be a curator and now we have a handful of children wanting to aspire to be one when they are older!
