Soft Start - Fine Motor Focus

During the 'soft start' and up until registration, Year 1 have been focusing on their fine motor control. Each class has had a different task to complete that we will rotate at the start of each new week.  In 1T, children have been threading beads onto bead strings, weaving paper and using pipe cleaners to make bracelets with beads. 1M have been manipulating small objects like match sticks and mini gems to make patterns. In 1S, children have been taking part in the playdough disco! They've rolled, squashed, prodded and squeezed their dough into lots of interesting shapes! Check out these photos from our activities!
