Remembrance Day 2024

In preparation for Remembrance Day, the children have been busy creating beautiful poppies for a special display outside our school. Using a variety of materials like paper, felt, twigs and wool, each child designed their own unique poppy, symbolising respect and remembrance for those who have served. They’ve been learning about the significance of the poppy and discussing why we wear them to honour the sacrifices made during times of war. The display is now filled with these handmade poppies, showing our school community's shared respect and gratitude as we commemorate this important day.
