QuadKids County Finals

On Monday, 10 children from Year Four represented Tynedale (and Sele) at the Northumberland School Games QuadKids Athletics Finals.  The children selected were the top scoring 10 children from the qualifying round that all of Year Four attended at HMS earlier in the month. 

The weather was fantastic, yet made conditions challenging for the running elements of the competition. However the children gave each event their very best, managing a combined score of over 1400 points.  This was enough for Sele to take the silver medal - our first time ever on the podium for this event!  The children were incredibly proud of their achievements and we represented Tynedale incredibly well!
