Poetry in Y3

This week in Year 3 we have been looking at poetry. We looks at the features of four different types of poetry. Lots of children preferred Limericks because they were funny.

Inspired by the take one picture by Ludolph Bakhuizen, Children created their own Haiku - a Japanese art form. Finally finishing their writing week off with an acrostic poem based on the word WAVES.
