Maths in Reception

Over the last few weeks, Reception have had a focus on number. Everyone has been busy making teen numbers, adding numbers together and most importantly, choosing how to show their answers. With their increasing knowledge of number bonds, children have begun writing number sentences. They also chose to draw part whole models and used lots of practical tools to show their calculations. 

Maths in Reception
