KS1 Visit to St. Mary's Lighthouse Y1

This week, KS1 children visited St. Mary's Lighthouse.  The children thoroughly enjoyed rock-pooling and found lobsters, crabs, prawns, sea snails and even a sea scorpion! They also saw some sleepy seals on the rocks on the way up to the lighthouse. 

Following this, children toured the lighthouse and reached the summit. They also completed a workshop where they learned about what life was like for the lighthouse keeper.
