Heroes Football Festival a success

Even the rain couldn't dampen our spirits for this day of football festivities.

All children from Nursery to Year Four came outside for a day of footballing fun, with mini matches inside of inflatable pitches and skills games supported by Hexham Football Club and the QEHS Sports Leaders. 

The whole school was split into two teams, the Phillips Phantoms took on the Milburn Mavericks in a closely contested competition. Eventually, the Phantoms took home the trophy, with Miss Phillips delighted with her team's success. 

The aim of this being to raise the amount of competitive sport in school, albeit in a fun and inclusive manner. Well done to all who took part!
